Capoeira Angola is a non-violent, unique Afro-Brazilian martial art fight dance. Learn self-defense movements, songs and rhythms, and how to play on Afro-Brazilian musical instruments. You will perform Capoeira in a community setting that is fun and engaging. Find out about the ways of the Capoeirista and philosophy behind this martial art that promotes confidence, balance, strength and awareness in life!

Wing Tsun™ Kung Fu an excellent option for learning self-defense, and supplement to your current health and fitness goals. Through practice you’ll be able to combat stress, learning to relax under life’s pressures. You’ll get a great workout and have fun, all while being taught in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Wing Tsun builds on simple and flexible concepts and techniques, some of which will be introduced in your very first class.

Special Doun Doun Dance Workshop

Doundoun Dance is dancing and drumming at the same time. Taught by the inimitable Karamoko Camara from Guinea, West Africa, well, it just doesn’t get better than that. Dance movements are incorporated into playing the sangban (drum) with sticks. Bring your drum and sticks (even if it’s not a real sangban, as long as the drum sits on the floor and you play it with sticks). We also have a few available. $20.
